Music
Eight choirs for children, youth and adults provide inspirational anthems at worship services and lead the congregation in singing hymns.
The Wesley Connection
Realizing the emotional, educational and spiritual importance of music in worship and study, John and Charles Wesley carried hymnbooks along with their Bibles when they traveled to preach. They reasoned that timid souls who couldn’t easily speak their faith could sing it. Music and the arts at Pulaski Heights are a vital part of worship and faith development for children, youth and adults.
Music for Children
Being a part of a children’s choir is an important part of a child’s development as a whole person. Our choirs focus on providing each child a connection with singing, with worship in the Church, with being a part of a group with a purpose, and with service to others. Wesley Kids is our choir program for children in kindergarten through 5th-grade. K-2 and 3-5 are the age divisions; both meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. in the music area. The Children’s Handbell Choir is also open to children with an interest in handbells. Each of our children’s choirs participate regularly in worship services and at special events.

Music for Youth
Youth choir is a music, social and spiritual experience that you can’t get anywhere else! The Cornerstone Youth Choir, for youth in grades 6-12, meets each Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Cornerstone sings each month in worship, at special events such as “A Touch of Class” dinner theater, for community events, and for choir tour concerts. The Youth Handbell Choir is offered for youth with an interest in handbells.

Music for Adults
Several options are available for college through senior adults. The Sanctuary Choir sings each Sunday for the 10:30 worship service, and rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The New Song Choir sings every-other-week at the 8:15 worship service, and rehearses on alternate Sundays at 5:40 p.m. The Energizers Choir is our choir for senior adults; this group meets each Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m., and sings monthly at the 8:15 worship service. The Pulaski Heights Ringers play regularly in worship, and has periodic openings for ringers. The Pulaski Heights Recorder Consort is our recorder ensemble.
