Thanksgiving
Our church participates with others in the annual Hillcrest Thanksgiving Worship Service on the Tuesday evening before Thanksgiving. Churches share in responsibilities, and the location changes each year. Participating churches include Pulaski Heights Baptist, Pulaski Heights Presbyterian, Pulaski Heights Christian, and Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church.
A community offering goes to a local charity. Cans of food are collected for a local hunger relief organization. Paticularly during the season of Thanksgiving, we share our blessings with others.
November 24, 2009 – Thursday at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church, 2200 Kavanaugh Blvd. This year’s preacher will be Holly Patton, pastor at Pulaski Heights Christian Church and River of Grace Christian Church.
